My wife Brooke and I met in high school and shortly thereafter we were married. We spent the first few years together chasing after the pleasures of the world and indulging in the “lust of the flesh, lust of the eyes, and the pride of life” (1 Jo 2:16) until we finally hit rock bottom. The year was 2003 and we were at a rock concert known as “Ozzfest” that’s hosted by none other than Ozzy Osbourne the “prince of darkness” himself! After a series of circumstances and events which include a near death drug overdose we finally began to turn away from that lifestyle in heart. A couple months of sobriety later we became born again Christians in a non-denominational church! We simply fell in love with the “good news” of the gospel that Christ came to save us from our sins. We certainly didn’t have a full and proper understanding of the plan of salvation but it was a starting point. Our experience with the protestant churches became very bitter due to fake christians and apostasy which ultimately led us out of those churches, but in 2008 we became familiar with the prophetic interpretations of historicism such as the old protestant belief the papacy is the very antichrist power sitting in the temple of God declaring itself to be God. This ultimately brought us into seventh-day adventism which taught us many Biblical truths, but it didn’t take us long to recognize seventh-day adventism and apostate protestantism are just two sides of the same coin! They are BOTH daughters of the same “mother” due to their unlawful connections with the kings of the earth, and furthermore they are “drunk” on the false doctrines of Rome such as the “mysterious trinity” none can explain but all must believe! So it became clear to us a “coming out” from all forms of organized religion, including the Seventh-day Adventist denomination, was essential! Why the name In Your Forehead?
The idea was birthed after we became aware of the Biblical concepts surrounding the mark of the beast and seal of God. The simple reality is that according to the Bible every single person on this planet will be “marked” with a “sign of allegiance” to the power in which they obey.
Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey; whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness?
